How we met

In short, we met through Faith Creech, our maid of honor and my best friend. She introduced us by bringing Ben and a few other friends to Montreat to welcome me to school in fall of 2023.

We all went to a cafe for lunch, and then hustled back to campus to play in the creek. We worked together building a dam out of rocks (which was soon taken down by the school) while talking about politics and modern medicine.

The following week, Faith and the Whyatts invited me to go tubing with them down a river. It turned into a much longer ordeal than expected, with a fair amount of sunburn, but we were inseparable the entire time. We floated and talked for about five hours straight. Little did we know, everyone else on the river has come up with a combined name for us behind our backs. Later that evening, Ben texted me and asked me out.

Two weeks later, we were official :)

And thus, Benanna was born.
