Anna and Tyler met through mutual friends in 2016 while Anna was finishing her junior year in high school and Tyler was finishing his freshman year in College. (Tyler was dressed like a shepherd -barefooted with a fluffy beard and Anna was so nervous she couldn't eat at dinner after) While they may never agree on who made the first move, they quickly realized the feelings they had for one another. In the early years of dating, they frequented Dairy Queen and Los Mex, spent time at church, and walked around the track at Oxford Lake.

Their relationship grew as Anna attended Troy University while Tyler finished Nursing School at JSU. They both traveled to spend weekends with each other, never having enough time together. After years of long-distance, they found jobs close together and were finally able to live in the same city, right down the road from each other.

Throughout their relationship, they have traveled from places like New York and California, took trips with family and friends, and spent summers at the beach. They both love spending time with the ones they love and finding new activities to do together, but their greatest common denominator has been and will continue to be their love for Christ and love for each other.

Tyler planned a sweet and beautiful proposal involving months of reminiscing their years together and an early morning hike. Tyler proposed on June 24, 2023, at Oak Mountain St. Park. It was such a special day as they celebrated with family and friends. They are so excited to be married this October and can't wait to see what the future holds!
