How should I RSVP?
Please RSVP by May 31 by either mailing in the card sent with your invitation suite or through the RSVP tab on our website.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
The ceremony will be held at Saint Patrick's Cathedral in Charlotte, NC and the reception will be held at Separk Mansion in Gastonia, NC. Exact addresses are located on the home page of our website. The map for parking at the church can be found below.
What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue(s)?
For the ceremony, we recommend either driving to the Cathedral and parking in the lot located behind it or taking an Uber or Lyft.
For the reception, we recommend either taking one of the provided shuttle buses from the two hotels (the Aloft and the Omni) or driving and parking your car at the venue. They do allow overnight parking at the venue.
Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?
Yes! We are providing charter buses for our guests that will pick up at both hotels around 4:00 to bring you to the reception venue, which is located about 30 minutes away. Shuttles will also be available to bring guests back to the hotels after the reception at 10:00. Ubers/Lyfts could also be a good option, or feel free to drive and park at the venue! There will be no shuttles to or from the ceremony.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and the reception will be held indoors and cocktail hour will be held outdoors.
What is the attire for your wedding?
Our wedding ceremony and reception will be Black-Tie Optional. This means that tuxes and long evening gowns are encouraged but NOT required! Any colors or patterns are acceptable but we ask that you please refrain from wearing anything white! Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Unfortunately we will only be able to accommodate the guests and plus ones that were written on your invitation. If you did not have a guest or plus one listed on your invitation, we cannot accommodate them at the reception. We appreciate your understanding!
Am I allowed to bring my children?
Yes, we would love to celebrate with your children! Any invited children should also be listed on your invitation. Child friendly food will be offered. We will not have any childcare at the reception so if you choose to bring your children, please be prepared to keep an eye on them!
What type of food will be served at your wedding?
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. Cake will be served following dinner.
Will there be an open bar?
YES! Drinks are on us for the cocktail hour and reception. We will have a full bar serving beer, wine, and mixed drinks, featuring two signature cocktails.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
The ceremony will start promptly at 2 pm so we recommend arriving between 1:30 and 1:45 to find your seats.
Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
There will be a short gap between the ceremony and reception. The ceremony should be over around 3:15, and the cocktail hour begins at 5:00. The shuttles will be picking guests up from the hotels around 4 and leaving around 4:15, so you will have a few minutes to freshen up at the hotel before heading to the venue!
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We ask that you do not take any photos or videos during the ceremony. Photos and videos are welcome at the reception. If you post on social media, please use our wedding hashtag #ThePerfectFitz so we can see all of your pictures!!
