We are so grateful for the community of support around us as we begin our marriage. We got legally married in September of 2024 before the election.

We had hoped that by the summer of 2026, the world would look different and we would have the resources to gather our community and beloveds in person for a day of celebration of our marriage. Our community consists of immigrants, trans and gender expansive people, people of the global majority, and disabled/immunocompromised people.

In light of increasing scrutiny, violence, travel restriction, and lack of public health protections -- we cannot in good conscience ask our community to gather together at the risk of their wellbeing or physical safety at this time. To be in alignment with our values, we have decided to cancel our in person wedding celebration.

In lieu of gathering together in person, we would love for you to join us in marking the occasion by holding us close in your heart and sending us well wishes on February 28, 2026. Here's the link to the link to participate.

We would love to visit with you individually or in Covid-safer smaller groups, if you're able to travel to the beautiful PNW!
