An estimated 300-400 year old oak tree. Free to visit and absolutely beautiful!

Angel Oak Tree

An active botanical garden and swamp park. You can walk around the park, or take a guided, or self-guided boat ride around the swamp. Price- $10 for adults$5 for children(up to 17) Self-guided boat ride is included in your entrance fee but make sure to get on a waiting list as soon as you get in. The guided boat tour is $5 more per person, but in my opinion it is so informative and interesting. You can learn so much about the swamp and South Carolina wildlife.

Cypress Gardens

The oldest tea garden in North America. It homes the perfect environment for growing&nbsp;Camellia Sinensis, the tea plant used for both black and green teas. The gift shop and&nbsp;Factory Tour are free and you can learn how tea is made. Or hop on the&nbsp;Trolley Tour&nbsp;for a fun and educational ride through the fields, with a stop at a greenhouse to see young tea plants up close.Trolley tour Price- $16 for ages 12 and up, $8.50 for ages 4-11, free for kids 3 and under&nbsp;

Charleston Tea Garden

A great view of the Ravanel bridge and water. Plus a beautiful place to watch the sunset.

Mount Pleasant Pier

A free short boardwalk along the water in Mount Pleasant. You can often see dolphins coming to the surface in the water. Kayak rentals or tours are available here as well. https://kayakcharlestonsc.com/
