When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before March 12th, 2024! You can mail back the card enclosed in your invitation or simply RSVP right here on our wedding website.
Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?
All guests in attendance are formally invited to attend the rehearsal dinner.
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our rehearsal dinner and wedding is cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
A typical June day in Ireland is comprised of a mix of warm sunshine, fast-moving clouds and limited rainshowers.
Nothing in the Irish climate is extreme; even the rain.
Temperatures average 62-64°F during the day and drop to somewhere between 48-55°F at night.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Drenagh offers plenty of free parking for all guests and also have the option of leaving cars parked overnight if needed.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be taking place just outside of Dunluce Castle Ruins at a cliffside field; We recommend flat-soled shoes or wedges to avoid sinking into the grass. The reception will be held indoors at a separate venue called Drenagh Estate about 30 minutes away.
Will transportation be provided for the ceremony and reception?
Yes, a shuttle bus will transport all guests from Drenagh Estate, to the ceremony, and back to the estate for the reception.
12:30pm - Groom & guests will arrive at Drenagh to check in.
1:00pm - Groom & guests will depart Drenagh and travel to Dunluce via wedding shuttle bus.
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive at Drenagh Estate at least 30 minutes before the shuttle is scheduled to head to the ceremony location.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be immediately shuttled back to the reception hall for cocktail hour.
Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?
After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by complimentary Prosecco. We invite you to toast to our nuptials with a curated selection of wine, and our signature cocktail available at the bar.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Where do you recommend I stay?
We recommend visiting the ‘Travel’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled a list of hotels, bed & breakfasts, and townhome options nearby!
Do you have recommendations for things to do?
Yes! We highly encourage all of our guests to make the most of the trip! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area before or after the wedding. Explore some of Northern Ireland’s natural and cultural treasures: the Giant’s Causeway, Benone Beach, Downhill, Mussenden Temple, the historic City of Belfast, and more!
Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?
Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.
I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?
