Anna had just arrived in Cripple Creek, Colorado for her first professional acting job after college. She walked into the scene shop to find the producer, and JT popped out from behind a fake piano he was building for one of the shows (almost scaring Anna to death). JT thought Anna was just another Cripple Creek tourist walking into the shop, so he stared at her as if to say, "Ah geez, here we go again." All Anna could think was, "Oh my God. Play it cool. He's so cute. Oh my God." In the following weeks, Anna was NOT subtle about her crush on JT. Finally, during tech week of the second show of the season, JT invited Anna to watch a movie (Moana) with him and a few other cast members. The rest is history!

Anna was back for her second summer in Cripple Creek, and JT came to visit for their one year anniversary. That day, they had planned to go to the sushi restaurant where they'd had their first date. JT told Anna when they got back to town they'd be going to the theatre for a surprise he had for her. Anna immediately started making proposal jokes, but didn't think it would actually be happening. So they got to the theatre, and their friends Kevin, Clayton and Kelli are all there. Clayton and Kelli both have phones out recording, but Anna just assumed JT had written a rap for an anniversary present. It wasn't until the end of the song when he got down on one knee that she realized what was happening! Of course, she said yes. Well, she said, "Yeh! *sob* Yessss!"
