We both grew up in the Tarpon/Palm Harbor area, Anna went to East Lake and Preston went to Tarpon. Even being close geographically they had never formally met prior to 3+ years ago. While we both knew similar circles of people and had likely been to some of the same functions we didn't start hanging out until September of 2021. Preston convinced Anna to get a beer at a local brewery even though neither of us like drinking beer anymore.


The Saturday following we went on the boat (The only reason Anna agreed to hangout with Preston) and followed up with dinner at our now favorite mexican place.


Anna decided that because Preston had a cool truck he would be worth keeping around for a little while longer. Little did she know it would be impossible to get rid of him.


We still spend weekends on the boat and she drives his truck any chance he gives her. The real reason for them getting married is so he can add her to his insurance for when she takes the truck.
