In the spring of 2023, Anna and Kyle matched on the dating app, Hinge, with Kyles conversation starter, “Hey, I know you! We both went to Lynn Road and played volleyball together at Lake Park.” It was true, Anna and Kyle have known each other since elementary school but never ran in the same circle of friends. They quickly scheduled their first date at what was once Sawmill Taproom, where they talked for hours, sharing stories and laughter over Miller Lites (of course). Despite the connection they felt, both were disappointed that there was no kiss at the end of the night. They dated shortly and unfortunately time was not on their side during that spring. However, it was not long before their paths crossed again... Several months later, Anna saw Kyle at a volleyball tournament. He decided to walk over and say hello to her surrounding team members hopeful he grabbed her attention once more. It worked. Anna could not stop thinking about Kyle and questioned their short relationship just that spring. That fall, they were brought together once more at Lake Park’s fall volleyball league. Determined to make things right, Anna decided to give it another go and asked Kyle on a date. It took three attempts before he finally accepted. At what they call their second-first date, they quickly picked up where they left off and talked for hours once again. This time, there was a kiss at the end of the date, sealing their rekindled romance. From that moment on, they were inseparable. While their love has not yet lasted a lifetime, the two have committed to one another making the most out of the time they’ve already had together by traveling, parenting their two pups, Champ and Kevin, hanging at Sharky’s, and yes, playing volleyball, but now they play together. We cant wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people in just a few months to welcome the Walcheskes. Your love, support, and friendship means the world to us.
