Our Wedding

From Fayetteville to Forever 

Anna and I met in April of 2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. As undergraduates at the University of Arkansas we shared common courses with the maid of honor, Lauren. Lauren is responsible for helping me with several assignments and school projects. She coached me through microbiology and Lauren also introduced me to the woman who would become my future wife. I could not have asked for a better lab partner. Once Anna laid her eyes on me she fell in love right away. Actually it took some convincing, but I earned myself several dates before she left for the summer. That summer she lived in Brooklyn, New York and I remember crushing hard long distance and calling her every weekend. Once our senior year began I asked Anna to be my girlfriend. The year flew by. Room 312 at Gather Dickson was home to our friends who turned into family.&nbsp;&nbsp;We still miss the football games, La Huerta, and nights out at the bar.&nbsp;Now in Kansas City so many new friends surround us. Here our relationship has developed into an adult relationship where we have to do more than meet out on Dickson Street every weekend. In Kansas City we grew up and started the next phases of our life. We faced different challenges, uncertainty and a global pandemic. The future holds so much for us. We cannot wait to see what the world has in store. We picture ourselves with a house, a dog, and little kids running around. Thank you so much for joining us to celebrate our wedding. We cannot wait to see all of you.&nbsp;

Our Story

Fisk Buses will be departing Vandivort Hotel and Tru Hotel at 4:00 and 4:15, respectively, to transport guests to the Haseltine Estate. The buses will return to Vandivort Hotel and depart again at 5:00 and 6:00. The buses will be departing the Haseltine Estate at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 to take guests back to the hotels.

Things to Do

Lauren and I met in our philosophy class freshman year of college. We became study buddies right away and then quickly realized we could have much more fun together without the books. Lauren does everything she can to make others feel special. She plans the best trips, throws the most fun parties, and is the most dependable friend. She's also a pretty good matchmaker!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Connor grow from a boy to a man. He consistently makes self improvements, achieves, learns and builds on his values. I could not think of a better guy for the honorable position of best man. In life Connor taught me to overcome physical and mental adversity. My favorite memories with Connor were the all day Nintendo Gamecube binge marathons that we frequently had while growing up.

Laura is my oldest sister and one of the best role models I can imagine. She paved the way for me from grade school through dental school. Mistakenly being called "Laura" by many of our teachers over the years is one of the biggest compliments I've received. Laura is the most thoughtful and driven wine drinker I've ever seen!

Jake taught me many things in life. One thing Jake taught me is to plan something fun to work towards and look forward to. We are always looking for something to do together. My favorite memory with Jake was our trip to Colorado. We met our favorite band OAR in Boulder, saw them play Red Rocks, and biked Vail and Keystone.

Tori is the middle Faulkner sister and the life of the party! You can always count on her to cheer you up and give you a good time. More importantly, you can count on her to go out of her way to help you out at anytime.  Tori has always taken care of me from making mac n' cheese for dinner when we were little to taking me to La Huerta for lunch after a night out.

Connor taught me about friendship and what is means to be a roommate. Together we learned about pledgeship, sorority girls, and how to raise a kitten. My favorite memories with Connor include hosting random Wednesday night parties in our suite in the Pike House.

Katie is one of my many cousins and also one of my best friends. She has been there for me through every stage of life- from playing with 'Baby Emily' dolls to standing by each other's sides on our wedding days. Katie is someone I can go to for advice and talk to about anything. She's always true to herself.

Will taught me about how to maintain a life long friendship despite geographical proximity. After Will graduated from college in the UK and I graduated college in Arkansas we quickly resumed our friendship back in Kansas City. My favorite memory with Will was going to Arrowhead on Christmas Day to see the Chiefs beat the Broncos.

Kelli is my roommate and saving grace of dental school. I'm so lucky she agreed to live with the random girl who messaged her on facebook 6 months before school started. Kelli is the most considerate friend. She is always there to listen to me complain and then show me a cool new spot to take our minds off school.

Adam taught me about what it means to be a leader. Adam's family values are also something I look to as an example of something I want in my own family. My favorite memories with Adam are the Hanukkah parties that his family hosts every holiday season.

I met first Linzi when we were told to line up in alphabetical order at the Pi Phi house shortly after bid day. From that moment on, Linzi was there for me through every moment of college. I would do anything to go back to living in the house together for one night! Linzi is the most honest and loyal friend, and my favorite person to call the hogs with!

Jack taught me to not take life so seriously.  Jack also taught me to seriously pursue the things you care most about. We could write a book with the inside jokes that we have. My favorite memory with Jack was going to visit him while he lived in Nashville.

Megan is Ryan's younger sister. When I first met Ryan's family, Megan made me feel comfortable right away. She welcomed me to the family with her compassion and kindness.  I’ve learned that Megan knows how to have a good time, and has an impressive knowledge of bourbon!

Noah taught me what it means to be a husband. He also taught me about money lines and betting odds. Together with our girlfriends, Noah and I explored wine country in Hermann, MO. We learned that we prefer bourbon to Missouri wine.

Makena is the second Price sister. She is so much fun to hangout with, and she is definitely way cooler than Ryan and I. Makena is warm and outgoing. She always makes other feel special by putting them before herself. I can’t wait for all of our future fun times together!

Derek is my soon to be brother-in-law and soon to be father of his own. Derek has taught me what it looks like to work hard for your family and I know he will show me how to be the best dad. Every summer Derek and I share a lot of time together at the lake drinking beer.

Sadie is Ryan's youngest sister. This dancing queen is full of life and positivity. I am amazed everyday by her curiosity and inquisitiveness. We had the best time together building sandcastles and hunting for crabs in Alabama. I am so excited to be gaining three special sisters.

Chris is my full time uncle and part time older brother. My favorite memory with Chris was driving to Denver to see the Chiefs beat the Broncos in primetime at Mile High Stadium. Chris has taught me to prioritize family over everything but to schedule regular time for bourbon and cigars.
