Anna and Jonny first met way back in 2012(ish) through a summer theater camp when they were about 11 years old. They instantly got along with each other and for the short duration of the camp, they became friends. However, being as young as they were (and since they went to different schools), they did not keep in contact after the camp was over. By sheer chance, Anna and Jonny reconnected around 2 years later through mutual friends. Almost instantaneously, the two developed feelings for one another and picked up where they left off 2 years prior. They would go on to date on-and-off throughout high school, but in spite of the inevitable teenage relationship drama, they remained friends throughout.

Now, fast-forward to 2018. Anna had entered her freshman year of college at PSU Altoona and was living on campus. Up to this point, her and Jonny occasionally kept in contact, but they weren't as close as they used to be (because life happens). Coincidently, shortly after Anna began college, Jonny and close friends Brian and Chase were walking around the campus one late summer evening. Knowing that Anna was living on campus, Jonny reached out to invite her on their walk, hoping to rekindle their friendship. The feeling was mutual, and Anna happily agreed to join them... and so began their (nearly) 6 year long relationship.

During a vacation to Virginia Beach with Jonny's family, Jonny took Anna by surprise and proposed to her (with her dream ring, no less!) along the quiet and serene bay. Of course, Anna excitedly said "Yes!", and the two enjoyed a lovely evening together along the beach.

Since the proposal, Anna and Jonny have shared many milestones together. Anna graduated from college, Jonny became a supervisor at his workplace, and the two moved into an apartment together in December of 2023. They are both eager to begin a new chapter of their lives together through marriage later this year!
