Back in the teenage years, Kalyn built up the courage and asked Anna to be his girlfriend, with a little help from her childhood pup, Ranger. And just like that, their journey as high school sweethearts began. Even though Kalyn was from Holmen and Anna was from West Salem, they made it work.

After graduation, they headed off in different directions—Kalyn to UW-La Crosse and Anna to Luther College in Decorah, IA. But distance couldn't dim their love. Anna made a point of attending as many of Kalyn's college wrestling matches as possible, while Kalyn made sure to visit Decorah for their favorite ice cream fix at Whippy Dip.

After college graduation, we embarked on the ultimate adventure—to Cabo, Mexico. With the sun shining, the waves crashing, and the iconic arches in the background, Kalyn got down on one knee and asked Anna to be his forever.

Today finds us nestled in the city of Omaha, Nebraska. Anna is pursuing her dreams in dental school, while Kalyn thrives in his career in the insurance industry. But amidst the hustle and bustle, there's always time for our favorite escape: Northern Wisconsin. Our families, a cozy cabin, and endless memories—what more could we ask for?
