Our Wedding

Our Story Our journey began at a Kent State University fraternity party in the fall of 2014. We met at the Phi Tau frat house, both out with our roommates, and while neither of us expected to meet anyone that night, we couldn't ignore the connection that sparked between us. We ended up hanging out at Papa John’s until 3 AM, and from that moment, our friendship started to blossom.&nbsp; As our roommates became our regular hangout crew, we began to spend more time together one-on-one, and things quickly escalated from there! Once we started dating, we were practically inseparable, much to the amusement (and sometimes annoyance) of our friends. After two amazing years together, we decided to take a leap and move to Italy. What could possibly go wrong? Fortunately, not much did! Like any couple, we faced our share of challenges, but traveling through Europe truly solidified our bond. We took Florence by storm, indulging in wine, devouring pasta, and dancing more than we went to class. Our adventures took us to Split, Barcelona, Munich, Interlaken, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, Ibiza, and beyond, reinforcing our ability to work together, adapt, and remain patient in stressful situations. Those experiences remain a cornerstone of our relationship and will support us as we embark on this next chapter. Returning to Ohio was an adjustment—harder than we anticipated—but eventually, we reignited our spark and committed to growing even more as a couple. That’s when we welcomed Tito into our lives. He has transformed our world, becoming the glue that holds us together in many ways. Tito has taught us invaluable lessons about collaboration and has only deepened our love for each other. We’re excited about the prospect of expanding our family someday, and while we’re in no rush, we can’t wait to introduce Tito to a little brother or sister! After college, we moved across the country to San Francisco, diving into a new city, new jobs, and new adventures. While we loved our time in the Bay Area—hiking, camping, and becoming the best versions of ourselves—life (and COVID) led us back closer to home. Settling down in Cleveland has given us the flexibility to continue our adventures, and since then, we’ve traveled to Mexico, Honduras, The Bahamas, Key West, Costa Rica, Iceland, music festivals, and more. Our story has been filled with ups and downs, twists and turns, unexpected challenges, and incredible victories. Above all, it’s been a journey of love and adventure—two values we will prioritize in our marriage. We can’t wait to officially unite as one and are grateful to everyone who has been a part of our story so far.

Justin and I became best friends less than 24 hours after meeting as roommates during our semester in Italy. On the very day we met, we went from introducing ourselves to hugging and jumping up and down at 4 a.m., celebrating a Guardians victory (never forget Naquin's inside-the-park home run).

Even though we’ve never lived in the same state since college, we always make time to reconnect and pick up right where we left off. Whether it’s solving escape rooms in Florence, braving rollercoasters at Oktoberfest, wrestling matches in Nashville, or even getting kicked out of Madison Square Garden (iykyk), Justin is the kind of friend who’s always there for you and I can't wait to have him as my right hand man.

"Stephanie is my little sister and my second maid of honor. Born when I was almost 8, she has been my little best friend ever since. Growing up with her was a blast—she was my constant companion and always brought joy to my life. As adults, we remain best friends, having almost everything in common and sharing a love for music and festivals. She has a wonderful ability to keep things light and reminds me to stay present and grateful for every moment- even if that means finding the joy in waiting in 95 degree heat for 7 hours to see Chappell Roan. That’s exactly why I need her by my side on my big day!"

I first met Tim in 2015 as Haley's boyfriend. We always got along and connected, but were limited to the few times a year we would see each other at family events. It wasn't until 2022 when Tim came on the annual Nashville trip that really transformed a friendship into someone I view as a brother. Now, when the annual beach trip comes around people joke about why we don't just share our own room with how much time we spend together. Every time we say goodbye we already have the next trip, sporting event or random excuse to hang out on the books. I am grateful for a future brother-in-law like Tim - and glad you no longer have to tell people I am your "wife's sister's boyfriend"

"Kelly is my cousin and one of my lifelong best friends. Each summer, the highlight of my year was visiting her in New York for a week, where she matched my chaotic, fun energy perfectly. Kelly is the kind of person I can always count on to hop on a plane with me to Costa Rica, Iceland, or wherever our next adventure takes us (seriously, Kelly, if you’re reading this, we need to book another trip soon!). Although we’re cousins, I consider her my third sister, and I can’t wait to celebrate together!"

I've never made a friend in a more wholesome way than with Jake. On the first day of junior year at Kent State I walked into a class and broke the cardinal sin... every other seat was available, but I sat right next to Jake because he was wearing a Cavs jersey. Turns out, he lived in the same apartment complex as me and we had almost everything in common. For the next year I think I spent more time with Jake than I did with Anna. Jake is the kind of friend who will put a smile on your face and make you laugh no matter what mood you are in. From ripping snowmobiles in northern Michigan to rope swinging in Key West, Jake has always been someone I can count on—especially if it involves cracking open a Busch Heavy and watching some ball. I’m lucky to have him by my side on the big day.

"Taylor is my soul sister. We first crossed paths in middle school and really bonded at her unforgettable 13th birthday party, which was truly the party of the century! Since then, we’ve been inseparable—waitressing, traveling together (who could forget the time we accidentally camped at that off-the-grid rave?), and staying connected despite the miles that often separated us. Taylor is one of the kindest, gentlest, and most down-to-earth people I know, and I can’t wait to share her incredible energy with everyone at my wedding!"

I met Tyler through Jake, as the two of them grew up together, and we instantly clicked as well. Tyler is one of the hardest-working and most caring people I know. He somehow balances having more friends than you can count while still making each person feel like they matter.
Whether it’s surprising me for my birthday in Tahoe, planning unforgettable group vacations, hosting epic Fourth of July parties, or now even celebrating his daughter’s first birthday, Tyler knows how to bring people together. I always look forward to the next time we get to hang out, and I’m lucky to call him a friend.

"Rachel and I met in the most random way, and I’m so grateful we did! Our first encounter was while waiting for our flight in the London Heathrow terminal. We had chatted online beforehand, both eager to connect with new friends before heading to Florence for a semester. Despite it being our first meeting, we talked effortlessly for hours. Since then, we’ve traveled everywhere together! One of my favorite memories with Rachel is at Oktoberfest. In just one day, we managed to meet an incredible number of people and hear so many unbelievable stories. My adventures wouldn’t be the same without Rachel, and I feel so lucky to have someone in my life who shares that “I can do anything” spirit!"

Jacob and I first met as members of Delta Sigma Pi at Kent State and has been one of my best friends ever since. I can remember for an entire semester we would do the same thing almost every single day....wake up, gym, ping pong, chipotle, fortnite, repeat! We never have trouble finding something entertaining to do when we get together and love how competitive we have always been with each other. Jacob is someone I know who will always have my back and am lucky to have stand up there with me on the big day! (p.s. I am sorry I turned you into a Browns fan)

"Mel and I were meant to meet at least five times before we finally did, and it turns out we’ve lived parallel lives in so many ways. We first connected in high school through our vocational Fashion Design program, even though we attended different schools. It didn’t take long to realize that we had crossed paths numerous times in sports and through mutual friends. We became incredibly close in high school and both ended up at Kent State, where we coincidentally joined the same sorority. While we had a bit of distance during college, our friendship reignited when we both found ourselves in Cleveland after graduation. Mel has taught me so much about embracing my true self, and she has a special way of bringing out my creative side—something I often forget I have!"

Luke and I first met at Kent State through Delta Sigma Pi, going through the pledge process together. From the start, we bonded over two of life’s greatest passions: golf and fantasy football. Honestly, I don’t think I could live without either—and I’m pretty sure Luke feels the same way. I always look forward to our next round of golf, where we spend hours talking about our dynasty teams, draft strategies, and whether I’ll ever win! Luke is the kind of person who accepts everyone for who they are and is always down for a great time. I’m lucky to have him by my side on the big day—and I can’t wait to cheer him on when he wins the Masters one day!

"Kayla is Luke’s sister, and we first connected after Luke and I started dating. From the beginning, we’ve been able to chat for hours—she’s the best listener whenever I need to vent or blow off steam. Recently, we’ve grown even closer, discovering how much we enjoy each other’s company, whether it’s grabbing a drink or heading to a tattoo appointment (fun fact: we have matching tattoos!). Kayla is incredibly understanding and has the biggest heart, and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome her as my new sister-in-law!"

Corey is one of my closest cousins and ever since I can remember, someone I can truly count on to be there no matter what life throws my way. Growing up, our families would get together all the time, and we would always turn something into a competition... basketball, golf, baseball, madden, nerf wars in the basement... you name it, we probably challenged each other in it. Corey is another person in my life that shares the desire to golf and even though he beats me damn near every time these days, I always look forward to the next tee time. Beyond the competition, having Corey to talk about life, bounce ideas off of, give advice, and just listen has been something I’ll never take for granted. I’m grateful to have him by my side on such an important day.
