March 17, 2019

We first met our freshman year at Clemson, but as life has it, that was not our time. We ran into each other a few more times through the years but didn't think much of it. It wasn't until our junior year where things took a turn. As it turns out, one of my closest friends from high school was Kyle's roommate that year. After a few months of us all just hanging out as friends it was becoming clear Kyle and I were more than friends. We made it official in October of 2018 and took our first trip to Smith Mt. Lake, VA in March of 2019 where we made it clear to our friends and family that this was something special.

May 26, 2019

Something that instantly connected us was our love for our family and a lake house. If you know us, you know we both grew up with houses on the water to gather with our families. Our first summer together we didn't waste any time getting together at Anna's family lake house on Smith Mt. Lake in Virginia and Kyle's parents lake house on Lake Norman in North Carolina. This would be the start to MANY lake weekends.

May 8, 2021

After two graduations (mine in 2020, Kyle in 2021) we were finally able to start our post graduate life together! Kyle would be moving to Winston Salem, NC and I was in Charlotte, NC.

July 11, 2021

After a few years together it was finally time for Kyle to get baptized into the larger Heffernan family by attending the Heffernan family reunion. Roughly 130 members of the family gather every other summer all over the US. Kyle wasted no time jumping in feet first by getting called up by the family band to play the drums. Lets just say it was a highlight of the trip and made sure the family remembered Kyle!

July 23, 2021

If you know Anna you know she LOVES cats and always dreamed of the day she could have her own. Kyle on the other hand, not so much. That was until he met Harry. Don't let Harry's face fool you the first time they met, he loves Kyle (not as much as Anna, but still a lot!). Harry has been the biggest blessing to us, he is always down to snuggle, always has to give his two cents and will never leave you alone... even if you want him to!

Our life started to settle in with our little family in Winston Salem, NC until our next big adventure when the Heffernan Family reunion took us to the motherland... Ireland!! We had the most fun exploring the country and experiencing our first time abroad together!

July 30, 2024

One of the biggest accomplishments for us happened this summer! We knew we were going on a family vacation to visit Anna's grandparents in Colorado and Anna's dad said he was going to hike a 14er (mountain exceeding 14,000ft elevation) while out there. Kyle has always dreamed of doing one so he was in, Anna on the other hand had not dreamed of doing one but couldn't let Kyle do one without her, so she was also in! 8 hours, 2 cries sessions, and one pair of ripped pants later we completed it!!

July 31, 2024

The day I said yes to forever!!! This was on Wednesday of our trip and it was Kyle and I's first chill day. Our airbnb had 2 electric bikes that we decided to ride all morning, it was a fun and peaceful way to start the day. The plan for the afternoon was to go Telluride, CO. After walking around in the town for a bit I wanted to go on a gondola ride and it seemed like it would just be Kyle and I on it. Little did I know that Kyle had cornered my brother Brian and his fiancé Meghan (now wife) in a store to inform them that they had to go with us because he was proposing. After arriving in the ski village we sat down at a bar for a few drinks, Kyle and Meghan proceeded to sneakily ask the bartender inside where the best spot for pictures was. Off we went to the spot and after taking pictures of Brian and Meghan it was our turn, the next thing I remember is Kyle saying "it's time". I instantly start crying and saying "no it's not", to be honest we don't remember much past that aside from me saying yes! It was the best trip of our lives!!!

There is parking at the venue, please note that if you plan on driving, rather than using the transportation, the venue is in a more rural spot so please take that into account while enjoying the party! Ubers might be hard to get.

Please be aware that the Ceremony will be outside and the reception will be in a tent, please plan accordingly.
