We went to the same high school together and knew each other as friends since 2011. We ended up going to the same college, NC State, but with different majors we lost touch with each other. Junior year (2017) we ended up at the same New Year’s Eve party - Cameron’s older brother Clayton’s party. We reconnected and stayed up until 3 am eating breakfast food and talking at a 24hr IHOP. This re-sparked our friendship and started a year long habit of Cameron asking me to be his date for all his fraternity functions. The end of junior year we parted ways for summer internships. Cameron went to Greensboro, NC and I to Summerfield, FL. We called each other almost every night and planned an end of summer trip to Chicago/DC together. It was on this trip that Cameron asked me to officially be his girlfriend - and I said yes. We have been together ever since (about 4 years now). On May 8, 2021 Cameron asked me to marry him - and again I said yes. Now we can’t wait to get married and to celebrate the growing of our relationship with all of you!
