Our Wedding

Our story began on May 10, 2024, when Rachel — Anna’s older sister and a former co-worker of Austin — set us up on a blind date to a military ball. We hit it off immediately and talked the whole night. Several hours into the evening, I (Anna) called my mom and told her I was going to marry Austin! From there, we started visiting each other on weekends, met each other’s families, moved Austin across multiple states(twice!), and have continued building the most wonderful, love-filled relationship!

Our reserved room block is located at the Cobblestone Hotel &amp; Suites, conveniently situated in the heart of Cullman. This is under “Hilb and O’Connor Wedding.” The hotel is just a 3-minute drive from Loft 212, where our reception will be held, and about 5 minutes from Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the site of our ceremony. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodations, complimentary breakfast, and easy access to both event venues for a seamless wedding weekend experience.

We’ve reserved a secondary room block at Home2 Suites by Hilton Cullman. The hotel offers free breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi, and is located about 2 miles (6–8 minutes) from both Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (ceremony) and Loft 212 (reception). To our Boston and East Coast family and friends: We hope you’ll be able to join us for our wedding weekend in Alabama, but we completely understand that not everyone will be able to make the trip. We want you to know that the O’Connors plan to host an informal post-wedding celebration when we visit the Boston area in June or July of 2026— a chance to visit and celebrate with everyone!

A Note for Boston Area Family and Friends

AIRPORTS The two closest airports to Cullman are in Birmingham, AL, and Huntsville, AL. Birmingham is a one-hour drive from Cullman, and Huntsville is around 45 minutes away. Both are easy to get in and out of for arrivals and departures. If you don’t mind a bit of a longer drive, Nashville International Airport is about two hours from Cullman and offers more options for direct flights from the East Coast.
