For those who love the outdoors, the Linden Hall Stone Bridge Trail provides scenic walking trails with some rugged terrain and a few steep hills. The trails are marked, and walkers may share them with bicyclists in certain areas, offering plenty of opportunities to encounter local wildlife.

Additionally, the Great Allegheny Passage rail-trail, which spans 141 miles of hiking and biking between Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Cumberland, Maryland, passes right through Dawson, Pennsylvania. Guests can stay overnight at Linden Hall’s lodge, making it a perfect stop along the way.
