What is the dress code?

We'd love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We are requesting a Black-Tie Optional dress code. Black-tie optional means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (think: an evening gown or tuxedo) but can also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead.

Can I bring a plus one?

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, your invitation will say " and Guest," and will also appear when you RSVP.

Are children able to attend?

We have decided to make our wedding an adult-only occasion. Please be advised that the number of guests on the invitation reflects the total number we are able to accommodate, and we kindly request that no additional guests be added. We hope this advance notice allows you to join us in celebrating our big day!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to park and find your seat.

Where should I park for the ceremony?

If you are driving downtown we recommend one of these two options below! Otherwise, Uber or Lyft would be your best bet!

Where should I park for the reception?

If you are driving to Scottish Rite Cathedral, there is parking available on site. There will be a huge parking lot on the west side of the building along N Illinois Street.
