Say what? Anna and Mike have funny regional and personal sayings that will help you understand them when they are speaking their own language at the wedding:

Southerisms:

Hey y'all, watch this! - If you hear a Southerner say this, beware! This is a phrase that is usually followed by an unadvised, dangerous act.

Bless your heart! If you hear someone say this, it's not a compliment. It is something that Southerners say when they want to be mean but sound nice. Example: "Well she's as dumb as a doorknob, bless her heart!"

Wisconsonisms:

Er, no? People from Wisconsin say this a lot, and it is even posted on billboards and cited in commercials. The "er, no" phrase is usually an unnecessary addition to whatever someone is saying. Example: "Do you want to go out to eat, er no?"

The Bubbler. Mike never heard this phrase for a water fountain before visiting Anna in Green Bay. Bubbler was actually an old product name invented in 1888 by what is now the Kohler Company. The more you know!

Annaisms:

Absolutely! Mike loves when Anna says this emphatically. His new Wisconsin tendencies have him saying this word frequently as well!

Get back to making celery! Anna texted Mike one day about getting back to work and making that salary. Except that she typed "celery" instead of "salary," which they both thought was funny and continue to refer to celery whenever talking about work!

Mikeisms:

Week-a-versary. Mike is a hopeless, sappy romantic. When Mike and Anna started dating, Mike would wish Anna a happy "week-a-versary" every Tuesday after they started texting! He recently added "engagement-versary" after he proposed on Christmas Eve!

I love you so completely! Mike texted this to Anna one day, and she wondered "what the Heck does that even mean? So completely?" Mike really didn't have an answer for her, but the two frequently repeat the phrase to each other and laugh about it!
