Unlike most modern millennial love stories, where couples meet on dating apps, our story began one late night at a bar. Unbeknownst to them, this bar was located in their hometown, Peoria, IL. Realizing they had much more in common than just their hometown, James and Anna, along with their friends, knew this was something special.

On September 28, 2022 we flew from Chicago to New York with six of our friends and had a phenomenal trip. From Broadway shows to Central Park and eating everything in between, Anna didn't think this trip could have gotten any better. Until, in true chaotic fashion, all eight of us walked to Bryant Park at midnight, the same day we fly out at 6am. After group pictures to commemorate our trip, James proposed in front of Bryant Park. Despite having 8 months to get the ring sized, in true James fashion, it only fit Anna's pinky. But after going to the shop later that day back in Bloomington, the ring got sized and all is well.
