Our outdoor wedding ceremony and evening reception will be held at the H10 rubicon palace hotel in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote on Monday 10th June 2024 from 3pm. We kindly ask our guests to arrive at the hotel reception from 2:15pm in order to be guided to our ceremony location on the grounds.

You can book flights direct to lanzarote arecife airport from either Shannon, cork, Dublin, UK (35mins) Feurteventura Airport (1hr 42mins)

Playa blanca is 33km from lanzarote airport. It takes around 35mins on a private transfer/Airport taxi. There is a taxi rank directly outside the arrivals of terminal 1 and terminal 2 Alternatively a private shuttle bus can be arranged if travelling with a group number (www.shuttledirect.com) If your booking via loveholidays.ie they give you a option to include pick up transfers within your booking using shared or private transfers If you are staying at the H10 rubicon palace, you can also add the transport pick up option on their hotel booking app (H10 hotels)when securing your accommodation

H10 rubicon palace in playa blanca. This is where we will be staying alongside our immediate family/wedding party throughout our wedding week. The hotel has over 600 rooms with double rooms/family rooms etc where we would be only delighted if our guests choose to join us on the duration of your stay! This is also a family child friendly hotel. Wedding discount rate is available for all guests (see q&a section) Alternatively the hotel is located on playa blanca seafront promenade which has a variety of other accommodation options next door/ close by (hotels,apartments/villas) & within walking distance/quick taxi to our venue. We have attached some local recommendations Note: Any of our guests who choose an alternative accommodation option outside of our venue can still access our hotel to join us for drinks/meals throughout their visit in playa blanca if they wish

No dress code is required throughout the day, although some restaurants/hotels in playa blanca do request long trousers/polo shirts/shirts for men to be worn in evening time to dine (Do check your accommodation/restaurant requirements pre booking).

We expect the weather to be warm in playa blanca so we do recommend you packing some SPF and sunglasses! Rain is rare this time of year! However please note lanzarote can get breezy particularly in the evenings so it’s always good to pack a light cardigan or sweater!!

We will be having a sit down formal evening meal, followed by late entertainment

We will be having a post wedding day 2 from 6:30pm at “Cafe La ola” in Peurto del carmen. (20mins from playa blanca) which can easily be reached by a regular taxi service, bus or car. All are welcome including those with children.

Playa blanca is based on the southernmost tip of the island. Popular resort towns close by are costa teguise (39mins drive) & peurto del carmen (20mins drive)

Our venue is located on the seafront promenade in Playa blanca. 200m from nearest shops, 500m from a small sandy cove,1.5km from flamingo beach,2.5km from playa blanca resort centre. Outside the back of hotel there is a walk way path facing along the seafront with has various hotels, bars, shops, beaches and finally reaching the rubicon marina (5km) At your leisure it takes around 40mins of a leisurely stroll to reach the rubicon marina area which is full of restaurants, shops and beautiful views. You can also book various boat trips & excursions within this area A taxi drive is 5mins to marina rubicon from our hotel. Taxis can be ordered from hotel reception. Local bus stop directly outside front of hotel Bike hire is also available from our hotel. The mountains you can see from the front entrance of hotel are the Montana de reja -a 3km moderate incline if you fancy a scenic hike!

It is not necessary to hire a car, however if you choose to do so it is advised you Prebook this service a few weeks in advance. There is public transportation available throughout the island -local buses and taxis/boats for a reasonable price

Both card and cash are accepted in most places throughout the island. Some smaller shops/bars may only accept cash but this is a minority ATMs also available but there is a charge each time you withdraw! Revolut cards are also accepted in most places. Local currency is Euro and currency exchange is available on island
