Elage had always been friends with Anna's siblings, but he never really knew her personally. It only took a few posts from Lucy where Elage described Anna as "the kind of crazy I'd like" - to truly capture his attention.

On September 21st, 2018, Elage finally decided to reach out, using the perfect excuse: to wish Anna a happy birthday. That famous call turned into several hours of laughter, stories, and instant connection. By the end of the conversation, Elage boldly told Anna he was going to marry her and he meant it.

Their first meeting came a few months later during a planned trip to Dubai, a moment that sealed their bond and confirmed what their hearts already knew. Despite the long distance - Anna living in Los Angeles and Elage in Bamenda - they decided to brave the odds and nurture their love across continents. From 2019 to 2022, Anna visited Elage every year, keeping their connection alive and growing stronger with each reunion.

In 2022, Elage proposed in a breathtaking ceremony in Douala, and a year later, he joined Anna in the United States. Shortly after, they celebrated a beautiful civil wedding in Los Angeles County.

Two years down the line, their love has blossomed even more with the arrival of their precious baby, Munge.
