Our first date was in February 2023 at David's Catfish in Atmore, AL. Taylor and I had been talking and FaceTiming for over a week but had never met in person. Driving to this first date, I was so nervous, but the minute I saw Taylor, all the anxiety and nervousness were gone. We had a great first date and decided to have a second date in March at Magnolia Branch in Atmore, AL. (Atmore was halfway between us.) On this second date, after walking around the wildlife reserve, Taylor asked if we could continue this relationship and only date each other. The adventures of Anna & Taylor began that day!

We had a fantastic summer together. We traveled to several states, such as MS, TN, MO, KS, OK, and AR. We went to Mount Cheaha, took several trips to the beach, went camping, and went to some rodeos. I’ve enjoyed every minute of spending time with Taylor.

Taylor and I had talked about marriage and our life together, but I was surprised when he proposed to me on November 22, 2023. Of course, I said yes and cried because I had been waiting for the right guy. Since he proposed the day before Thanksgiving, our family learned the news at Thanksgiving dinner. We’ve had people congratulate us, the family is excited, and even my students had a mini-engagement party for me.

Taylor and I are excited about our wedding day in December 2024! Thank you for all the love, prayers, and blessings sent to us thus far!
