Our Story

How we met - 2013

We met in Mrs. Davis' homeroom in 8th grade! Anna threw a birthday party at the bowling alley near Kelvin's house just so she could have an excuse to spend time with him. Then, we went on one date to the Mall of Georgia and saw a movie. Anna's mom dropped her off for the date, which was very embarrassing. Kelvin gifted Anna a giant stuffed animal, which she still has. Shortly after, we broke up and never talked again until college.

how we met again - 2018

We both went to Auburn freshman year of college, where Kelvin lived with our mutual friend Alan. Anna asked Kelvin to her sorority formal, and they became friends. A few months later, Kelvin became Anna's math tutor, which led us to spend more time together because Anna was REALLY struggling with her math class. Our friends (shoutout Alan, Michael, and Bailey) all wanted us to start dating, and we finally did in 2019.

as time went on

Sophomore year, we both left Auburn, each for different schools. We each moved just about every year to different cities, but always stayed together. We would visit each other almost every weekend and talk on the phone every day. In 2023, Anna graduated college and started working as a Registered Nurse in Trauma/Neuro ICU. In 2024, Kelvin graduated college, and is now working as a Registered Nurse in Medical ICU.

The proposal

Kelvin took Anna on a trip to Elijay, Georgia in the Summer of 2024. He proposed to her in the backyard of their airbnb with a mountain view and a secret hidden photographer, and they celebrated afterward with champagne and pizza.

In 2020, Kelvin adopted our cat Lynyrd (named after Lynyrd Skynyrd). In 2023, Anna adopted Penny (named after Penny, Heads Up). We love our pets so much!

the house

In 2025, we closed on our first house together! We are having so much fun working on projects to fix up the house, and Penny is excited to finally have her own yard!

the hobbies

We have loved traveling together, hosting our friends, spending time outside, and having nights at home cooking dinner and watching movies! We are so excited for our future together, and we are so thankful to have such amazing friends and family who continue to show us love and support through all of our phases in life.

Bailey and I have been close friends for a loooong time. She just gets me! She is levelheaded and I know I can always trust her to be honest with me when I need advice. I love being around Bailey, even if we're just sitting in silence! Fun Fact: Bailey and her fiancé (Michael) helped set Kelvin and me up when we first started dating!

Kenzie is such a great friend to have! She has a great sense of humor, is fun-loving, and is a bit of a hobbyist. It is so much fun to try new activities with her, and she needs to move back to Atlanta already!

Taylor is creative, adventurous, and so easygoing! She is such a steady friend, and always true to herself. I am so thankful for our friendship and inspired by her as a person!

Many people know Rebekah by her nickname, Butta. She is absolutely one of the funniest people I have met in my life, and is such a kindhearted friend. She brings so much joy into the lives of those around her, and is everyone's biggest supporter. Love you roomie!

Abe and I go way back! She literally always has my back and I know there is never too tall of an ask with her. We have had a lot of adventures together and have also helped each other through some rough times. She is always so accepting of me and I love her for it!
