**ATTENDEE CHECKLIST**

Hi everyone! If you are planning to attend the wedding, PLEASE READ THIS CHECKLIST. There are 3 separate steps that we need from you:

#1 –RSVP as “Yes/Attending” on our website so we can get the correct headcount, or just text us and we can do it for you.

#2 – Please submit your request for a room via the hyperlinks here below. The Travel Agent’s online intake form will ask you for the names of attendees, arrival and departure schedule, passport info, etc. We need you to start this process within the next 7 days, and to successfully book and pay the first deposit by this month. This affects the room blocks we have already paid for, and tells us if we need to get more rooms blocked, what kinds of rooms, etc.

*FYI -- The initial room-request will ask for credit card info, even though it does not give you any sort of final $$ quote. I can understand why this is very uncomfortable. You do not have put in a real credit card number. You can put in a fake number until the Travel Agent reaches out to you, then give her a real card number once you get a $$ invoice for the deposit.

*After you submit the intake form, the Travel Agent will have to reach out to you via phone/email to give you an invoice, explain payment due dates, etc. Please feel free to text us if you experience a significant delay reaching/hearing from her. The Travel Agent will be doing this manual process for some ~100 people, and she travels for work fairly often, so we are expecting some delays. We have already paid for room blocks, so the room prices are locked, no need to worry about price changes. The final room payment isn’t due until June.

#3 – Book your flights. FYI, you do not need to do this immediately. The Travel Agent can help you if you need help, but she recommends that everyone does this on their own because the travel agency cannot give you airline rewards points or a direct refund if you cancel. The Travel Agent claims that 3-4 months from the date of travel is the best flight pricing. Personally, I’m not sure if that’s true, and we already booked our flights because Hopper expects no price drops. Plus, many people are flying out of the same city on the same dates, so we might be competing with each other for prices… lol. We’d suggest taking a look as soon as you can.

At some point, at least 1 month before the wedding, please make sure the Travel Agent has your travel schedule. She is organizing shuttles to-and-from PVR Airport to Secrets Hotel, which is no-charge for Secrets guests.

If you are not staying at the Secrets Hotel, please send us a text to notify us asap. The Hotel has a maximum % of non-guests it allows per day/event, so we have to plan accordingly.

If you are not staying at the Secrets Hotel, you must pay a ~$110 entry fee (per person) to get into Secrets resort for the day. The fee is paid to the Hotel, and permits entrance into the Hotel 1 hour prior to the wedding events through the end of the night. As you know, Secrets is an all-inclusive resort, so that’s reason for the fee and you will not be able to get in or visit otherwise.

If you are not staying at the Secrets Hotel, the Travel Agent will not be able to help you with any stay/flight/transportation, no need to call her. You’ll need to organize those things on your own, and just let us know that you’ll be joining the wedding day so that we can notify the Hotel security/admin.

Cancellation Policy

Deposit is a minimum of $200 per room($100 per person) which is non-refundable.

50% of room balance is due no later than June 15, 2024.

All payments/balances are due by July 15th, 2024 and are non-refundable/non-transferrable after that date. Travel Protection is available and highly recommended to protect yourself from the unknown.

Payments may be submitted at guest’s convenience using the link provided in each email sent with invoice.

Cancel prior to JUNE 14th, 2024 – non refundable deposit.

Cancel between JUNE 15th-JULY14th, 2024- 50% is non-refundable(no exceptions).

Cancel on or after JULY 15th, 2024 – 100% non refundable (no exceptions).

Changes made after final payment could incur $150 change fee per person / per change.
