What is the dress code for the wedding?
Our dress code is semi-formal. We ask that women wear mid- or full-length dresses or skirts or dressy pantsuits or jumpsuits. We ask that men wear a coat and/or tie. Jeans and shorts are not appropriate for this event.
Who is included in my invitation?
The name of every guest invited to attend is listed on your invitation, or if the entire family is invited, it will say "family." Though we wish we could spend our special day with as many people as possible, there is only enough seating at the church to accommodate those who receive an invitation.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at First Presbyterian Church thirty minutes before the ceremony start time so you have enough time to find your seats, connect with friends, and enjoy the beautiful prelude music.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
We ask that you take no photos during the wedding ceremony. We have hired a wonderful professional photographer and will be happy to share photos with you after the wedding! You are welcome to take photos at the reception, and we'd love for you to share them with us, too!
Where Should I Park?
There is parking behind First Presbyterian Church, as well as parking behind the First Methodist Church next door and parking on the street. Parking attendants will direct you to parking lots within walking distance if more parking is needed.
is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Please feel free to mill about outside the beautiful Welch College campus during the time between the ceremony and start of the reception.
