Zach and Anna met during their junior years of college. Zach, a nursing student at the Christ College of Nursing, and Anna, a social work student at Northern Kentucky University, had no idea that agreeing to go on a date set up by their friends would lead to an everlasting love.

Anna was on a spring break trip with her college friend, Natalie. One night during the trip, Natalie asked Anna if she would be interested in being set up on a date with Natalie’s now fiance, John's, cousin/best friend, Zach. All that she was told about Zach was that he was a future nurse, a diabetic, and a ginger. How could she possibly pass that opportunity up? Meanwhile, Zach was with John when he was asked the same thing. Zach was told that Anna was a classmate of Natalie and that Natalie thought that the two of them would be a good pair. Spoiler alert: she was correct! Numbers were exchanged, and Zach and Anna began texting each other. After a day or two of texting, Zach asked Anna out to breakfast. A few successful dates later, Zach asked Anna to officially be his girlfriend in April of 2022. The pair quickly discovered that this relationship was going to be something special.

While dating, Zach and Anna both graduated college, started working full time jobs, traveled together on trips, met each other’s huge families, made amazing memories together, and most importantly, fell in love. Zach popped the big question on November 3rd, 2023. Zach and Anna are extremely excited to be sharing their life together.
