Guests will be allowed to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony (4:45 PM).

Our theme is retro '70s. If you would like to have fun with it, feel free to (no Halloween costumes). Otherwise, wear what you would like.

Please bring your favorite recipe to the wedding and drop it in the recipe box! We would love to have a collection of our family and friends' go-to eats.

The ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be both indoors and outdoors. Please dress accordingly for the October weather.

Following a short ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour. After cocktail hour, dinner will be ready. Mingling and dancing will go until around 9:30, when the party bus will arrive to go to the casino for the after-party.

There is parking at the venue.

No. Please plan accordingly if you plan to ride the party bus. We cannot leave vehicles at the venue. Plan a ride home the next day, carpool, take your vehicle to the casino beforehand and hitch a ride home, whatever you need to do!

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding families at our ceremony and reception.

We will have crackers, meats, cheeses, veggies, fruits, etc. during cocktail hour followed by a BBQ buffet with sides for the reception. Soda, water, cocktails, and beer will be provided.

We will have a small variety of sodas, beers, and mixed drinks to sip on, however, don't hesitate to BYOD(rinks)!

We have set up a room block at Meskwaki Casino. Both King and Double Queen rooms are available. The pricing on both types of rooms is $119 plus tax. Call 1-800-728-4263 and use Schmidt/Hamilton Wedding to book.

We are opting for an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from having your cell phones and cameras out to be fully present with us. Photos welcome during the reception.

Please have RSVPs in by August 31st.

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to buy us something, we'd greatly appreciate a contribution towards our house deposit.

The reception will end around 9:30pm. There will be a party bus arriving around that time to head to Meskwaki Casino and Hotel. If you would like to ride the party bus, please use the RSVP page to let us know so we can plan accordingly. If you would like to join us at the casino, but do not want to ride the party bus, that is an option as well.
