Nestled along the banks of the Rhine River, the medieval town of Zons in Dormagen is a charming village located between the two major German cities of Cologne (Köln) and Düsseldorf.

The closest airports to Dormagen-Zons are Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and Düsseldorf Airport (DUS), both of which are easily accessible from the United States.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is approximately 1 hour by train or 2 hours by car to Cologne, where we definitely recommend staying. From Cologne, it takes about 45 minutes to get to Zons by car, taxi, or Uber.

Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is about a 30-minute drive by car, taxi or Uber from Zons. Staying in Düsseldorf proper is also highly recommended.

By Rental Car: Most major American rental car companies also offer services in Germany, such as Hertz, Avis, Enterprise, etc. Please note that US citizens are indeed allowed to drive in Germany with their US driver's license.

Aside from Zons itself, you have the option to stay in either Cologne (Köln) or Düsseldorf, which are both vibrant cities located near the wedding venue. Both cities are cultural capitals of the Rhine region and offer a wide range of hotels, restaurants, and attractions to enjoy before and after the wedding.
