Our story is a beautiful testament to faith and God’s plan. Our families first met through our shared church and school community. Growing up attending the same church and school, our friendship naturally grew because of the connection our parents and families shared. I knew Anna from early on, but our love story didn’t begin until many years later…
When Anna was a senior in high school, she drove me home from school every day. These car rides became something I looked forward to, filled with laughter, conversations, and a growing bond. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, those daily car rides came to a sudden stop.
During quarantine, I realized just how much Anna meant to me and how much I missed spending time with her. That summer, while on a camping trip to Cummins Falls, I told Anna how I felt about her, and she agreed that we should start hanging out and figuring out what we had. We spent the summer watching Harry Potter, playing card games, and growing closer. By that fall, I officially asked Anna to be my girlfriend, trusting in God’s timing.
Throughout college, we continued to love one another and deepen our relationship, always knowing that marriage was our ultimate goal.
In October 2023, we celebrated three years of dating, and I started planning to propose early the following year. After getting everything in place with our families and finalizing the plan, I proposed to Anna as a surprise during her graduation photos on April 20th, 2024, at Dixon Gardens.
I’m beyond excited to continue this journey with Anna, trusting in God’s plan for our lives. We can’t wait to celebrate our love and faith with all of you!
