Doors have a way of opening and closing on new adventures throughout someone's life. For us, it was the start of the greatest adventure we would ever take together. Anna walked through my door after being invited over by our best friends. Unbeknownst to us at the time, it was a plan for us to meet. After only a few dates in, we knew this was different from those we had met in our pasts. This was a future.

After being convinced that I would pop the question at her favorite band's concert one Friday night, Anna woke up a little disappointed. Her Maid of Honor (Summer) knew that the disappointment would not last the weekend and helped Anna to prepare for our day date, while Summer was supposedly meeting an old friend. I brought Anna to our favorite brewery and played Darts as usual, we then made our way to Krog Street Market for Sushi and Ice Cream, before returning back to Anna's apartment. As we walked up to her door I stopped, turned to Anna and said, "1 year ago, you walked through my door and forever changed my life. So I think it is only fitting that we walk through this next one together. " Walking into a path of white rose petals and candles, Anna found the ring waiting at the end. I dropped to my knee and asked the most important question of our lives. After saying yes, Anna noticed Summer waiting to congratulate us, along with a few other friends taking photos to remember the night forever. The surprise was not over for Anna as we then made our way to the Skylounge Patio inside the Apartment building. There we were met with more friends and champagne to celebrate.

As we enter the next Chapter of our lives together, there will be many more doors to walk though. And we will walk through them together. Forever.
