Our Wedding

From Anna's side of the story ;-)Some of my family and some good friends of ours planned a trip out to the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter the end of October into the beginning of November 2022 and stopped at our friends' sister and brother-in-law's house for 4 days. One night we had a game night, and Mr. Tristen had asked Broc if he could swing by and pick something up. When Tristen arrived, Broc invited him in to join the game night and introduced him to everyone. Tristen hung out and joined the game for about 20 minutes, then he left. Afterwards, one of my friends was like, "Anna, what do you think?!?! Are you interested in him??!!" I was like, "Nope, I'm not."A little later, Angela asked me if I was interested in Tristen, and i again said no i'm not. Famous last words lol! A couple days later, when we were walking up the ramp to the Ark, Angela said that Broc asked Tristen if he remembered that Anna girl. Tristen said, "Yeah the one sitting kiddy corner to me??" The whole time Angela was telling me this, all I could do was giggle and smile real big!! That night at the hotel, I was talking with my friend, Nicole, about it and kinda getting excited about it, but also not sure if it was a good idea or not. Nicole and Elisabeth gave me a pep talk of encouragement and were super excited with me!Once we got home, i waited to talk to dad about it until we milked cows together which was 3 days later. After that, I prayed and thought about it. 2 weeks later I figured i should probably say something to Angela about it or something and not keep this guy waiting! I decided that if he would be willing to talk to dad first, then after that i would be wiling to get to know him and see what happens. Side note: all i knew about him was that he loved Jesus and he seemed to enjoy life.I texted Angela on a Sunday 2 weeks after we returned from our trip, and Angela said that she was just praying about that very thing that morning, and that Tristen had come up to her and Broc that morning at Church to see if he could come over and talk and pray about what God is doing here! Like Angela had said, super cool to see that God was laying this on all of our hearts around the same time!3 days after i texted Angela, (Tristen had already talked to dad and got his approval) Tristen texted me that Wednesday night, and then we had a phone call that Friday! We both came away super excited!! And then we've kept talking since then! AND now here we are!! I am SUPER excited to see what God has in store for our next chapter!! Tristen's side of the story :-)I went to my friend, Broc's house, and he had told me that he had company over and said if i wanted to come in and play a game. I took him up on that offer, and then walked into Broc's living room and asked Angela if i could keep my boots on cause i had been working all day and my feet stunk. Upon asking the question, i was informed that that was not Angela i was talking to, but i kept my boots on anyways! I then sat down to play a game, and left. Broc had told me a couple days later, to be praying and asked me if i remembered an Anna. I said yes and that she was the one sitting diagonal from me. And then I caught covid and was unable to acquire more information because I was, quote unquote, "contagious". After a couple of weeks, I was informed that Anna was not interested in dating, but would be open to courting, which made me very excited! I then got her Dad's phone number, and began to talk and process with him, which was a very neat experience. After a few weeks, I then got Anna's phone number and began talk and process with her, which was even more neat. After about a month, I went to go see her and told Broc I was going to marry her. We began courting in January, and now, I am going to marry her! Glory to God!!
