This is a little short story I wrote for our story, I hope you like it!
Michael lived on Pershing Circle for most of his life. He faced many trials and tribulations growing up, just as Anna and most other children do. But everything changed when she moved into the house at the corner of the street.
To Anna, he was the cuter older boy she watched from the window. On some lucky nights, he would come down to their house, where the neighbors gathered around the bonfire, and share in some small talk with her. She was only an eighth grader, and he was a sophomore, so she never thought it would happen. Until one night.
It was Summer before Anna's sophomore year and she hears the boys outside hooting and laughing, she went outside to join in the fun and conversation. It was the first night Michael ever showed her any type of attention. She was taken aback, but excited to see where this would go.
A while passed without much interaction, Michael was living in St. Louis for a bit, and Anna was going through high school. Michael had moved back into the neighborhood and started kidnapping Anna's little brother Jack for the boys' adventures, he had started to come around a lot.
It was the summer before Anna's junior year. They began to talk a lot; He would come visit her every morning that summer just to talk on the back porch for a few hours. Soon enough they were inseparable.
An intense love for one another, sometimes it was too much for their hectic lives. They were young, with quick tempers and many, many emotions. But they eventually figured it out. Heck they're still figuring it out, but with God in their eyes and looking towards the future, they were ready to take the next
step.
As you all know, Michael and I did already get married in May. On May 14, 2022. The reason we did this was for one reason and one reason only, we were living together and had recently gotten our lives back on the right track, with God. We realized that we were doing wrong by living together but couldn't imagine making it any other way. So, we decided to drop everything and follow Jesus. It was a very quick decision, we had decided on Wednesday, then got married on Saturday. We are sorry not more people were there, but we felt it was the right thing to do.
