Anna moved to Nashville in 2020 to try something new after growing up and attending college in New Hampshire.

Colton grew up in western Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. After spending a few years working in Chattanooga after graduation, he moved to Nashville.

Anna and Colton met in August 2023. They spent the day with mutual friends watching the Tennessee Vols season opener football game. After the game was over, Anna and Colton found themselves sitting next to each other at FGL House on Broadway, where they discovered they had a whole lot in common.

After a few weeks and lots of texts and phone calls back and forth, Colton asked Anna to go out on a first date. After their first date, they started seeing each other pretty frequently! Playing tennis and cooking homemade meals together were typical date night activities.

One area of interest Anna and Colton bonded over was their love for dogs. In April 2024 they adopted sweet Carrot from Nashville Humane Association and fell in love with her instantly! Anna's one request to Colton when proposing was Carrot had to be included.

In June 2024, with the help of Anna's friends and family, Colton pulled off a secret proposal and engagement party. The ring originally belonged to Anna's late mother and after Colton added a few changes the rest was history!
