How do I RSVP?
We'd prefer for you to RSVP here on our website, but you may also mail your RSVP card from your paper invitation to the address listed therein.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to restrictions on the number of guests allowed, we ask that you only bring a plus one if you have one listed on your invitation. Generally speaking, we only accounted for plus ones if guests have been dating their significant other for a minimum of one year, are engaged, living together or married.
Are kids allowed?
Due to the presence of alcohol at our reception and guest number limitations, we would prefer you and your spouse plan for a parents' night out. That said, we will be having little ones from immediate family and the wedding party in attendance. If you cannot arrange childcare and need to bring your little one(s), please inform the bride or groom, and we will do our best to make accommodations to include them.
What is the dress code?
Black tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown, knee-length cocktail dress, or formal pantsuit. Please do not wear colors reserved for the bride (white/ivory/cream). Feel free to wear colors coordinating with the wedding party, such as mauve, light pink, burgundy, and dark green, but don't feel pressured to do so whatsoever!
Will there be vegetarian/vegan food options?
Yes! While the food is going to be BBQ and there will be meat served, we will be making sure to include options for our vegetarian/vegan friends and family. Please inform the bride by September 30, 2024 if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions that need to be accommodated.
What about parking?
The venue has a large parking lot so shuttles/off-site parking will not be necessary.
Will there be an open bar?
We will be serving select cocktails, beer and wine. 21+ photo ID required. We will also have non-alcoholic drink options available.
Can I take/post pictures & videos?
During the ceremony we ask that phones and cameras be put away so that you can be fully present with us for those sacred moments. We will have professional photographers and a videographer to capture the ceremony - we cannot wait to share that media with you all afterward! During the reception photos and videos are encouraged and may be posted if you'd like. Feel free to simply tag the bride and groom, as we have decided to forego the hashtag trend.
Is the wedding indoors/outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors in grass/gravel, so for footwear we recommend wedges or flats for the ladies. The reception will be indoors and outdoors with heaters inside the barn and a bonfire outside.
Weather Predictions?
Average high in Lafayette for November 2 is 63* with an average low of 41*. Tennessee weather can be a bit unpredictable, so it should be pretty comfortable but we will have heaters and a bonfire on site.
