Justin and Anna met at a music venue in Downtown Raleigh in June of 2022, while she was with two of her best friends, Vivienne (MoH) and Barrett (bridal party). He was there with Kevin (groomsman) and Jamie (DJ) and asked her out the next morning. It took them over a month to go on their first date, but by then they were both sure that they found something special.

Justin knew that she was the one when she pulled out an astronomy app to look at the stars on their first date, and Anna knew that he was the one when he volunteered to wake up at the crack of dawn to help her move into her freshman dorm and ride back alone with her dad for three hours.

On New Year's Eve at midnight, they rang in 2023 with a proposal at the same venue surrounded by close friends that helped plan the surprise for her.

They are so excited for their future together and cannot wait to celebrate the start of it with friends and family in June 2024!
