Once upon a time in the halls of Xavier high school, senior Sam caught the eye of a not-so-shy sophomore, Anna. They first locked eyes across the crowded gymnasium during a spirited game of dodgeball (okay, maybe not exactly like a movie, but close enough). Fast forward to prom night in 2015, they danced the night away.

After prom, life took them on separate paths, but fate had other plans. In 2019, as Sam graduated from the University of Iowa, while Anna was still busy being a proud Cyclone at Iowa State (cue the friendly rivalry). A chance encounter rekindled their connection, and from that moment on, they were inseparable.

After they both graduated in 2021 and spent way more time together than expected during COVID, they headed up north to Twin Cities together, adding Benny (the sweetest pup in the world), to their little family along the way. But the Windy City called, and soon they found themselves calling Chicago home.

Their shared love of adventure led them to say "I do" in the paradise of Cabo, surrounded by the ocean and swaying palms. With passports in hand, they're so excited to take on the next chapter of their journey together, one taco (and a few tequila shots) at a time.
