We know for some of you attending our wedding is quite a commitment in terms of travel. We hope if you are able to join us, you take some time for yourself with a well-deserved vacation in the Entertainment Capital of the World. Below are some of our recommendations in how to make the most out of your adventure!
This is a favorite place of Anna and AJ. It's full of restaurants, bars, movie theaters and home to a couple of studios! Parking is free in the mall parking deck, and in the lot under the AMC.
Recommended by groomsman Sean Rooney. Anna and AJ have yet to visit but really want to!
Be prepared to park far off and take a bit of a hike up to the observatory - and be sure to catch a Planetarium Show if you go!
Our reception venue is right next door! Universal studios just introduced Super Nintendo World alongside the other sections of the park including Jurassic World, Harry Potter, and the Simpsons Springfield. Personally, we love The Mummy and the Universal Studio Tour!
Spend some time in the "stores, restaurants and wonderful magic" that make up Universal CityWalk as well!
There's 67 hiking trails at Griffith Park and a lot of them boast the Hollywood sign. AllTrails.com has a great list and breakdown of the trails and their difficulty. Griffith Park is usually very populated.

Check what's happening at the Hollywood bowl! There's always some great live music to see. We once watched The Nightmare Before Christmas with live musical accompaniment from Danny Elfman and the rest of the cast - it was a blast!
A wonderful museum and great way to spend some time (and next door to the Natural History Museum)! Current home of the Space Shuttle Endeavor which is quite the sight, and they have plenty of exhibits that come through!
An amazing hub of any kind of food you could think of.
It's $2 for a round trip and a piece of history!
Cinespia is an amazing outdoor movie venue! Check out what's playing on their website!
Beautiful and fun aquarium in Long Beach with plenty to see!
Anna and AJ one stayed on the ship for an anniversary. While they wouldn't recommend staying the night, there are plenty of tours and exhibits that are worth checking out, especially the Haunted Encounters tour (Anna and AJ also did this and highly recommend it)!
