This is a favorite place of Anna and AJ. It's full of restaurants, bars, movie theaters and home to a couple of studios! Parking is free in the mall parking deck, and in the lot under the AMC.

Our reception venue is right next door! Universal studios just introduced Super Nintendo World alongside the other sections of the park including Jurassic World, Harry Potter, and the Simpsons Springfield. Personally, we love The Mummy and the Universal Studio Tour!

Spend some time in the "stores, restaurants and wonderful magic" that make up Universal CityWalk as well!

Hiking at Griffith Park

There's 67 hiking trails at Griffith Park and a lot of them boast the Hollywood sign. AllTrails.com has a great list and breakdown of the trails and their difficulty. Griffith Park is usually very populated.

Anna and AJ one stayed on the ship for an anniversary. While they wouldn't recommend staying the night, there are plenty of tours and exhibits that are worth checking out, especially the Haunted Encounters tour (Anna and AJ also did this and highly recommend it)!

Should I go to the Hollywood Walk of Fame?

Anna: No, absolutely not. AJ: Only if you've never been and/or want to see a specific star. Too much foot traffic and people trying to take your money. Would recommend the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Dolby Theatre, however, particularly for the Dolby Theatre's tour.

How far away is Disneyland/California Adventure?

About an hour away in Anaheim. Typically less time than that - if you want to go, it's worth the drive.

What is the best beach?

Both Venice Beach and Santa Monica pier are fun, but be aware they are always crowded. Manhattan beach is our personal favorite!

Where's the best place to see the Hollywood sign?

Anna recommends Lake Hollywood and AJ recommends Griffith Park for the best views.
