Annah and Mason hung out at the "Harvard House" with their friend group... Annah spent the entire summer crushing on Mason, asking her friends if she should text him or not.

After the summer, Annah stepped up her flirting game (Mason disagrees). Our friend group started pushing us individually to pursue each other, but neither of us knew the other one was feeling the same way. One of our good friends snapped this picture before we both admitted we liked each other.

Annah finally got Mason under her spell by beating him in a thumb war while they sat around a fire with their friends. Mason asked Annah to get coffee the next morning. Annah wasn't sure if he was serious, but she got up 2 hours before he was going to pick her up to do her hair and makeup "just in case." Their first date involved getting coffee and walking around Sertoma park. Mason listened to Annah babble about everything and anything. Mason and Annah went on three dates before Mason asked for Annah to be his girlfriend on September 08, 2021! It is safe to say, they knew they were the real deal very early on!

Annah met Mason's family only 3 days after dating on Mason's 22nd birthday. Mason was smart to ask Annah out 3 days before his birthday so she had to get him a gift... hahaha!

Mason met Annah's family. Annah always told herself that she would know the love of her life once she saw them interact with her nieces and nephews... she was not wrong. Mason officially stole her heart (& James & Lily's) this weekend!

Annah and Mason spent many days/nights watching sporting events, specifically UND and the Steelers. Annah cheers when Mason does!

Annah and Mason went to Arizona with their whole college friend group. A trip they will never forget filled with so many great memories!

Mason surprised Annah by inviting her parents and grandparents up to Grand Forks to celebrate finishing the hardest semester of grad school! Mason started student teaching in September at WAO where he has taught and coached since then!

Annah and Mason celebrated their one year anniversary! Both recall being just as excited for this date as they were for their first date.

Mason has been referred to as "Maybe Uncle Mason" by most of Annah's nieces and nephews. As much as Annah may try to deny it, UNCLE Mason is for sure the kids' favorite. We have added 1 more niece and 2 more nephews since this picture! Being the fun auntie and uncle w/ no kids of their own has been a huge part of Annah & Mason's relationship!

Mason and Annah got to go to prom together finally! (it may have been as chaperones... but Annah is counting it). From this point on, Annah and Mason have chaperoned/helped out with many things at Mason's school, because Mr. Wang is pretty much the coolest teacher of all time!

Annah finished up her last semester of in-classroom work for her occupational therapy degree. She was about to head out on fieldwork placements that are all around Warren, MN hoping to get a job lined up for after graduation (assuming that her and Mason will be starting their life together in that area). Things are getting serious...

Annah and Mason returned to Sertoma Park to take their engagement photos. They are so excited for every adventure together - both big and small! On this day in one year, Mason and Annah will be husband and wife!
