Our Story

Is just beginning...

Josh and I met the summer of our freshman year of college (2015) at Kansas State University. We were both student athlete's reporting for our summer workouts. Much of his time was spent at the field, while mine was spent in the gym. However, any free time we did have was spent together.

As an athlete, you have a daily routine, and Josh and I began to be apart of each others daily routine fairly quickly. We went to study hall at the same time, Chick-Fil-A runs, scheduled the same elective classes, went on "Kansas Adventures," (aka drove around all of Manhattan to try and find spots to claim as "ours,") lake and bonfires. Almost anything you can find to do in a small town, we did...and we always did it together!

We began dating the start of our sophomore year of college. Josh was drafted to the Cleveland Indians the following year, and I transferred to Lipscomb in Nashville, Tennessee to continue my education and play basketball. Doing life together side by side while in Kansas is filled with memories I'll cherish for a lifetime. However, our past two and half years of long distance has added its own kind of beauty and strength to our love story.

As we step into a new season of our relationship, uniting in marriage, we continue in faith. May our life together reflect Christ in the way we love and serve each other.

"Love is always kind and patient, never rude or selfish. Love delights in the truth. And I have found the one whom my soul loves!"

(1 corinthians 13; Song of Solomon 3)
