Emilio and I met about 10 years ago, due to him becoming a best friend to my older brother Alex. When we first met, we had little to no interest in each other. Only crossing paths when all the boys were playing together, because I loved to watch them play video games and got excited whenever they let me play games with them.

Fast forward a couple of years, we haven't seen each other in awhile and met up at my brother's boot camp going away party in 2018. With my brother gone I started to hang out more and more with Emilio and James. Almost every day we were spending time together and became best friends. Slowly over that time Emilio developed feeling for me. I totally friend zoned him because I was not ready for another relationship at the time and I didn't want to lose him as a friend. So we decided to stay friends

Fast forward to late 2023, we started to hangout more regularly as a group again during the holidays. The more time we spent time together I slowly started falling in love with him and he admitted that he never stopped loving me. Though this relationship seems very quick to most, for us it has been a slow process throughout the 10 years of knowing each other. Honestly, we are very happy!! It is truly a blessing to fall in love with your best friend.
