SEMI-FORMAL
We’re celebrating outdoors in late July—think polished but comfortable for warm weather.
Men: lightweight suits or dress pants with a sport coat; ties optional.
Women: cocktail dresses or skirt-and-top sets; mid-length or knee-length styles work best.
Footwear: dress sandals, wedges, or closed-toe shoes—please avoid thin stilettos on the grass.
Light layers (shawl, blazer) are recommended for the evening.

We did not block off any hotel rooms, so don't feel obligated to book from these hotels, but these are some recommendations for places to stay over the weekend!
Lydia Mountain Lodge & Log Cabins
This hotel is very close to the venue. It is on the pricier side (~$150 per night for the rooms and ~$275/350 per night for the 1/2 bedroom cabins), but it has great reviews and is recommended by the venue!
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Charlottesville
This place is more affordable (~$100 per night); but it is a bit further from the venue!

Located two miles East of Skyline Drive's Swift Run
Gap entrance and 5 miles West of Stanardsville.
If you are travelling West on Route 33:
Follow US-33 W. and pass the town of Stanardsville.
The road will narrow and you will climb some
winding foothills. We are the next left after the Lydia
Log Cabin building with the Red Tin Roof. Turn LEFT
onto VA-625/GOOSE POND RD take an immediate
right into our parking lot.
If you are Travelling East on Route 33:
After passing the Swift Run Gap entrance to Skyline
Drive, you will begin to descend the mountain. You
will pass a sign stating “You are now leaving
Shenandoah National Park.”
Take the next Right onto Rt. 625/Goose Pond Road.
Take a Right into our Parking lot on Golden
Horseshoe Rd.
