Our Wedding

<p>We first met in 2016 at Southwest Florida Christian Academy. Michael had just moved from Illinois and we were in the same sophomore English class. A few years after graduation, Michael and I reconnected at church. Michael asked me out on a date. We went out a few times and I realized it was silly to continue when I had told God I would never marry someone in full time ministry (telling God what you will “never do” is always a grand idea). We continued as friends. Over the next couple months we each spent time serving at church and hanging out in the same groups of people playing cards and talking. The Lord started to work on me and change my mind as I saw Michael’s heart for ministry. I figured I had missed my chance to be with him, and man did I kick myself for that. After months of wondering if he was still interested or not, he asked me to go out again! I was so happy. We started officially dating on August 1st of 2023, and headed back to college a month later. For the next 3 months we spent weekends driving hours to see each other. Whether it was Busch Gardens or a coffee shop or a study/sermon prep date, every mile was worth it. We prayerfully sought the Lord’s guidance for our relationship, and it did not take long to realize how much He was already blessing us as a couple. We were engaged on May 25th of 2024, and we are looking forward to a lifetime of memories.</p>

Although we always get confused for twins, she is my younger sister! She has become my best friend over the years, and I know she will be good for many laughs on my wedding day.

We have gotten super close during my time at Southeastern, and I always tell her she is an honorary VZ sister. We are like two peas in a pod, and I could not have survived my time at SEU without her.

Gabi and I have known each other for over 10 years (woah), and she has been a friend that sticks closer than a sister. Whether we are doing missions in Utah, rooming together, discussing the meaning of life or having a 4 hour yap session, Gabi challenges me and makes me more like Jesus!

Cami!!! We have gotten to be roommates for our senior year of college and it has been a wild ride. There is never a dull moment with Camila and I really could not imagine my day without her!

Eden started out just as my sister's roommate, but we have gotten so close over the last year and a half! I am SO going to miss hearing her knock on my dorm room door and I just know we are about to yap up a storm. She is the ray of sunshine any bride needs on her special day!
