WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?
If you are able to RSVP when you receive your invitation - that's great and very helpful! The last day to RSVP is April 1, 2025. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date provided, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide total guest counts to our vendors in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVP's. We hope you understand!
CAN I BRING A DATE / +1?
Due to the limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
ARE KIDS INVITED?
Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. Due to space, we are only able to accommodate the children in our wedding party and family. We hope you understand and can enjoy a fun date night!
WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors.
WHY IS THE WEDDING CEREMONY ON A SEPARATE DATE?
It was very important to both the bride and groom to have an intimate wedding ceremony with immediate family and the wedding party. We are having a private, catholic wedding service the day prior to the wedding reception. We hope everyone understands!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We are requesting formal-black tie optional attire. For Example: Women are more than welcome to wear any formal dress they would like (long, floor length is preferred but cocktail is also acceptable). Men can wear suits (button-up, dress pants, and a suit jacket). So, a tuxedo isn't required, but can still be worn if preferred.
Feel free to reach out with any questions!
ARE THERE ANY COLORS THAT SHOULD BE AVOIDED?
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - white, ivory, and creams.
The more color the better! Think spring florals, bright pastels, and textures. Have fun with it!
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE TO THE RECEPTION?
We recommend that you arrive before our 6pm start time. This gives us enough time to be on schedule.
HOW DO I GET TO THE WEDDING RECEPTION?
The address of our wedding reception venue is 1025 Aurora Ave, Naperville, IL. Transportation to and from Hotel Indigo Naperville to the reception venue will be provided. Otherwise, Uber and Lyfe are recommended.
IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE WEDDING VENUE?
Yes! There is a full FREE parking lot at the entrance to the venue.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE DINING EXPERIENCE?
Mesón Sabika is a Spanish-style restaurant & venue housed in a mansion that was built in 1847 and sits on a four-acre estate near downtown Naperville.
The restaurant offers an unmatched dining experience filled with unique and original menu items including both cold and hot tapas dishes. Guests will begin the meal with four courses of tapas, served family-style to share, followed by an individual entrée of your choice - please come hungry!
You will have the choice between two entrée options: chicken or fish. We felt particularly inclined to share that the fish option, like all menu items, is exceptionally delicious so please don't dismiss it right away!
WHERE ARE THE NEWLY WEDS HONEYMOONING?
We are honeymooning in Playa Mujeres in Cancún, Mexico!
