Are the ceremony and reception at different locations?

No, it'll be a one stop shop! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

We recommend arriving at least 20 min before the ceremony is set to start to allow enough time to comfortably get seated and enjoy the pre-ceremony music by our wonderful musicians.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Inside! June is already hot enough!

What should I wear?

We’ll be celebrating in a beautiful art museum, so we invite you to dress accordingly in polished, formal to semi-formal attire. For women: cocktail dresses, midi or floor-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all perfect choices. For men: suits are strongly encouraged (tie preferred), and tuxedos are welcome but certainly not required. Please no jeans, casual wear, sneakers, shorts, or overly casual attire.

What is the itinerary for the day?

Check out the homepage for a full breakdown of the event timing!

Are kids invited?

We love all of your little ones, however, we have decided based on the venue constraints to keep our celebration to adults-only. Please reference the individuals listed during the RSVP process as direct invitations. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I bring a plus-one?

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that phones are silenced and put away during the ceremony portion. We have excellent photographers and videographers involved to help beautifully capture the ceremony (check out some of our engagement photos for reference)! Feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like once the ceremony is finished.
