Our Wedding

Michael and Anne Marie met through CUNA&nbsp;Mutual Group, where they both still work today. They were officially introduced at young professionals happy hour.&nbsp;

After dating for several months, Anne Marie was presented with the opportunity to continue her professional development in the state of Texas. Michael moved to Austin with her and they spent two years in the south together. While there, they spent lots of time exploring the city, eating great food,&nbsp;listening to music, hiking the hill country&nbsp;of Texas, and finding their fur baby, Lady the dalmatian. Not every couple "gets" to spend two years away from friends and family in a new place together. When you don't&nbsp;have any friends or family within hundreds (thousands?) of miles, you only have each other.&nbsp;The time spent in Texas solidified Michael and Anne Marie's relationship and it will never be forgotten.&nbsp;













In December of 2017, Michael and Anne Marie sat down for Michael's birthday dinner&nbsp;at their favorite Madison steak house, The Wonder Bar. They had a wonderful evening of drinking, eating, laughing and freezing (that night happened to be a&nbsp;chilling low of 15 degrees - they had acclimated to Texas at this point). After dinner Michael presented Anne Marie with what he called and early "Christmas"&nbsp;present. It was a wrapped package&nbsp;about the size of a shoe box. She felt guilty that she didn't have one in return, but opened it because of how insistent&nbsp;Michael had become. After unwrapping the gift, a white box sat in Anne Marie's lap. She lifted the top and inside sat a little red box. Michael then asked her to marry him and through lots of smiling, laughing and crying she did in fact say "yes!".&nbsp;













Michael and Anne Marie moved back to Wisconsin in May of 2018 to be closer to family. They live in McFarland, WI&nbsp;with their dalmatian, Lady, and their cat, Luna. Michael began grad school at the University of Wisconsin in the fall of 2018 where he is pursuing his MBA.&nbsp;













Michael and Anne Marie are thrilled to invite you to their wedding in July of 2019 and cannot wait to celebrate with friends and family!
