The circle is where the Hilton Garden Inn is. The star is where the sober boat will be docked. If you’d like to walk as a group, you will meet Annie and Bill in the lobby at 3:10 with hopes of leaving at 3:15 or so. The boat will leave the dock at 3:30.  The boat will only make one more trip back to the hotel side of the river at the end of the reception (11:15-11:30). Directions: Leave the hotel from the main entrance/exit. Walk straight toward Jefferson/N Summit St. Take a right on Jefferson and head straight toward the river until you run into the boat.

Our Wedding

It all started with a spider. Our mothers met when Val booked an appointment with Marji. They happened to run into each other at Wayne Trails open house soon after. They realized we would be in kindergarten together. Our paths crossed on the softball field, which continued through high school. We werent necessarily close, but we enjoyed each others company. I remembered a little tidbit that Bre did not! She body painted for me our senior year. After high school, we went our separate ways and lived very different lives. This is where it gets interesting... Finally, you get to read the spider story. Its not a long story, but its how we started. We had been Snapchat friends for years. Unbeknownst to Bre, when she slid into my DMs, I was single. I posted a photo of my live Christmas tree. Bre messaged me saying, every time I see a live Christmas tree, I worry about the spiders they bring in. To which I replied, Thanks... I never thought of that. New fear unlocked. We both had a laugh about it. We would randomly message here and there, but nothing serious. As Christmas approached, I thought it would be nice to catch up and grab a drink. Bre would only be in town briefly, but agreed to go to Georgjz on Christmas Eve. We sat at the bar for four hours, shutting down the bar (quite soberly) on Christmas morning. I know what it sounds like... but we were just lost in conversation, truly enjoying each others company. I must have done somehting right, because Bre decided to come home the very next weekend to hang out. We spent hours together over the weekend and felt this may be more than friendship. Spoiler alert... it was! I definitely was stubborn about letting my walls down... Thank goodness Bre never gave up on me. Despite the distance, we made it official at the end of January. We quickly fell madly, deeply in love (so gay). We did what all lesbians do... We got Bre a Uhaul and she moved back home... Something she thought she'd never do (TeHe). Flash forward... with a green face and a witches hat, Bre got down on one knee and asked me for forever. And now... were planning the big day!

This is the hotel we and the bridal parties will be using!There are 15 rooms available on Friday and 15 rooms available on Saturday in the block! The group rate will be available on a first come first serve basis!The Hilton Garden Inn is next door/attached to the Homewood Suites which has the same address. Hilton Garden Inn Toledo Downtown

We will be utilizing a very large boat for sober transportation from the Hilton hotel area to the venue. They will drop everyone at the venue before the ceremony and then pick everyone up after the shenanigans end!!The taxi will leave the pick-up area at 3:30 PM sharp! We would like every on time, as the taxi takes approximately 10 minutes to cross the river.The taxi will board and head back to the hotel between 11:15-11:30 PM
