Our Story

This is how the journey began! Back in June of 2020, they were fortunate to meet one another when Adam decided to come back to bartend at Kona Grill. At first they really didn’t talk much, as they stuck to their own little cliques at work. The first few months were mainly just subtle glances at one another. Both of them unsure how to approach the other. Anne was the one who really broke the ice. Adam walked into work one afternoon, passing Anne in kitchen. She proceeded to start picking on Adam, and referred to his backpack as a school bag. Adam immediately defended himself, and remarked back. This was her subtle attempt at flirting. A couple months later, Anne turned 21 and was eligible to become a bartender. Working in such close proximity a wonderful friendship developed very quickly. It didn’t take long for that friendship to feel like something more. At that point, Adam finally built up the courage to ask Anne to join him for a drink after work. Their first official date! Adam decided to take Anne to his secret spot. A small cigar and cocktail lounge that not many people know about. It was romantic and quiet, with plenty of intimate spaces to converse. It was the perfect place for him to tell her how he felt. She, of course, reciprocated those feelings and the rest is history! They are very excited for you all to join them in celebrating their love, as they take their next steps into life!
