Ed and I met in high school. Yes, I admit I had a huge crush on him; tall, handsome, (hella skinny) basketball player. He was my teachers aid in history class (but he didn’t even give me a higher grade, ugh). We were always friends, even after high school, but didn’t go on our first date until 7 years after. Yes, I admit again, I was the one who first messaged him on AIM when it was still around. But I will say, he made everything else happen after! We found out he worked very close to where I live, and asked to get sushi. It wasn’t until that moment that I knew true embarrassment. I spilled the miso soup all over the table, and I’m pretty sure I pissed off the waitress. He’s never let me forget it. This was the beginning of our forever!
