There are two ferries! One ferry is out of Montauk and the second ferry is out of New England Connecticut. I recommend on buying your ferry ticket before hand, and be on time! They leave exactly on time and finding parking can be difficult.

As soon as possible!! If you have never been to Block Island before the Island gets really really busy and prices go up (Wayyyy up) the longer you wait. We have a room block at the venue, but we recommend a few other hotels down the street on our travel section. The room block will no longer be active on April 1st, 2025. Some hotels on the island don't have AC. Crazy I KNOW, but the ones we've added are the least expensive with ac units. LOL

No! Our venue and the hotels I have recommended are on the Main Street. There is no other street on the island with a market, restaurant, ferry, beaches or bars any where else. Once you arrive we will have a map and things to do for everyone when they arrive. Everything is in walking distance, but if not there is a taxi stand on the Main Street. Or you can rent a moped and tour the island yourself!

Children are NOT invited to the wedding. Block Island is really geared towards adults. Sorry!

Please arrive the day before! There have been issues that the ferry will not run if it's too rough or not enough people aboard. We ask that you take the advantage of this and use the day before to get used too the island and enjoy yourself.

Formal Please do NOT wear beige or light blue. No shorts or sneakers to our wedding. Our wedding is at night and at the top of the hill over looking the Atlantic Ocean. There will be a very cool breeze!
